Wolves Den Boxing

Wolves Den Boxing is the heart of our youth development efforts, providing a disciplined and structured environment where Lakota youth can build confidence, resilience, and physical strength. More than just a sport, boxing teaches life skills such as perseverance, self-discipline, and goal-setting.

Our program offers:

  • Training & Coaching – Skilled coaches provide structured boxing instruction for all skill levels, from beginners to competitive athletes.

  • Mentorship & Support – We foster a positive environment where youth receive guidance both in and out of the ring.

  • Health & Wellness – Encouraging physical fitness, mental well-being, and healthy lifestyles.

  • Travel & Competition – Opportunities to compete in tournaments, broadening horizons and fostering personal growth.

Wolves Den Boxing is more than a gym—it’s a family, a safe space, and a path to a brighter future for our youth.

Zuya Wichakage
Youth Diversion Program

(Making a Warrior)

Vision:

  • Empowering youth and their families to build thriving communities through wellness and strong interpersonal relationships.

Mission:

  • The Zuya Wichakage Diversion Program supports the long-term social and emotional development of Tribal youth while improving criminal justice outcomes.

Purpose:

  • Traditional justice systems often lead to higher rates of recidivism, with many youth on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation facing untreated mental health challenges. The Zuya Wichakage (ZW) Diversion Program offers an alternative rooted in Lakota traditions, focusing on restorative and healing strategies. By providing early intervention and intensive support, the program helps Tribal youth reconnect with their community, reduce delinquency, and build a positive future.

Wounded Knee Survivors Run (WKSR)

Founded in December 2012, the Wounded Knee Survivors Run (WKSR) honors the Mnicoujou Lakota survivors of the 1890 Wounded Knee Massacre. This annual run retraces the path taken by their ancestors who fled north to what is now the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation. It serves as a powerful tribute to their resilience, connecting descendants and community members in remembrance, healing, and cultural preservation. Through this journey, WKSR ensures that the stories of survival and strength continue to be passed down for generations to come.
